Although fascinated by construction since childhood, I became an architect after a somewhat erratic journey from abstraction to concreteness.
A great Greek, Nikos Kazantzakis, wrote: “Travel is like a thrilling hunt: you go out and you don’t know which bird you’ll hit; travel is like wine, you drink it and you don’t know what visions will overwhelm your mind. Of course, by traveling, you always find what is inside you.”
I completely agree, even if we replace traveling with designing!
More precisely, in realizing my projects, I try to convey a striving for serene harmony, crystalline coherence, original self-evidence, parsimonious expressiveness and classic contemporaneity.
The work of the architect is a noble service to make our lives more lovable, our world more beautiful, our reality more human.
